All rights reserved. Unauthorized use or reproduction of coyrighted materials is strictly prohibited. Why did you decide to become a model and how did you start?
I have always done acting and in a theatre tour I was doing I got told by a lot of people (I believe due to the hot pants fishnets and heels) that I should be a model – so I figured, why not! I began by putting my details on models connect and within a day they contacted me and offered me a free shoot to get myself started.

How has your life changed after you involved?
To be honest not hugely in terms of what I do – I still act and work part time, but I just love what I do so am happy and confident.

What is you favorite part about being a model?
The amazing clothes that I get to wear, meeting new people and getting my hair and makeup done…all of it!!!

What types of assignments are you attracted most?
They are all great in their own ways. Fashion shows for the excitement and rush that you get on the catwalk. But fashion shoots are exciting in a much calmer sense and there is a lot more time to enjoy the experience.

What are your most memorable modeling experiences? It could be good or bad...
My first fashion show – terrifying! It was a really long catwalk and I remember thinking – Oh My God, it's just like on America's Next Top Model – I'm a real model now! I had 6 different outfits and it was manic backstage but it was an amazing experience and was great to really throw myself into it – the best way to learn.

What would bring a smile to your face?
It does not take much to bring a smile to my face, but if I could make a career out of just modeling and acting I would be one happy girl!

What would be your "dream job" in life?
Dream job? Lead role in a West End Musical – either Fame or Legally Blonde!

What's the best advice ever given to you?
Life is full of rejections; you can't let it get you down. Every rejection is one step closer to that yes!

What are some Do's and Don'ts in the business that you have learned?
Don't ever pay to join an agency! (I learn that the hard way when I first graduated from Drama College!) Do say yes to every opportunity given to you, even if it's not exactly what you are looking for at the time – you never know where it will lead you. Do make contacts and Don't be afraid to use them.

What sort of tips or advice would you give somebody who is looking to model?
If you love it – do it. You've got nothing to lose. But once that passion ahs gone, it's time to find something else. It is a really tough industry so your heart has to be in it fully, else it won't be worth it.
