I never made a conscious choice to become a model; it just sort of happened to me. I had just moved to New York City and was walking on the street and was approached by a scout.

How has your life changed after you became involved?
I have been able to travel to many beautiful places and meet wonderful people.

Who are your influences?
Iím influenced most by Italian fashion.

What was the hardest challenge for you?
Modeling can be an unpredictable lifestyleÖ I always have to be ready to jump on a plane.

What is your favorite part about being a model? What are your likes and dislikes?
I love being surrounded by inspirational fashion, but sometimes people can lose their sense of reality. When Iím working with nice, sincere people who have an appreciation for beauty, thatís the best part.

What types of assignments are you attracted to most?
Iíve done a lot of runway shows, but I like photo shoots best because you can create all kinds of artistic illusions. Itís like a parallel reality of being someone else.

What are your most memorable modeling experiences?
I did a photo shoot recently with owls and other kinds of birds that was a lot of fun. I love animals!

What would bring a smile to your face?
Spending time with old friends.

What would be your "dream job" in life?
Something that has to do with art, and traveling, and being surrounded by creative people. Iíd love to be in a different city every week.

What projects are you currently working on, and what are your future plans?
I will be working in New York for the next two months doing photo shoots, and then will be in Milan and Florence for the summer.

Whatís the best advice ever given to you?
Just to be myself. Itís impossible to be someone that youíre not.

What are some Do's and Don'ts in the business that you have learned?
Itís very important to show your personality on each of the jobs youíre assigned, and never think that just your appearance will get you far just by itself.

What sort of tips or advice would you give somebody who is looking to modeling?
Donít ever pay an agent to find you work. They need to pay you.

What are the most important qualities to being a model?
Itís not enough to be pretty, you have to be smart, professional, and hard working.
