Aspin Lea
Born in the south, and raised in the midwest, I know what its like to try and conquer fame in such a small market. Always working, always on the go, and landing the cover of the local magazine is about as big as you can do in a small town. One month ago from Saturday, I packed up my bags with $300 in my pocket, loaded up my car, and headed out to California to pursue my dreams of becoming one of nations next up and coming models.
As a young kid I can still remember lying in lawn chairs next to the fire with the smell of the warm summer air while gazing at the stars. There was a strong scent of freshly cut hay fields in the midst of hay season. It's funny gazing at the millions upon millions of stars wondering what really lies within the stars or light years. Thousands of thoughts strain through my head like what is my future going to bring, what's in store for me, and am I going to live through tomorrow. It really makes me realize how truly thankful I am for all of the amazing people that have been a part of my life while growing up. As millions of people every day take for granted this place we live, and the experiences we undergo they never take the time to really appreciate the person standing next to them. It's not until their lost that you realize what kind of impression they truly have made in your life. After losing a dear friend, I soon came to realize. It was that moment that I realized that dreams, wishes, and wants were all possible. Regardless of probability, ratios, percentages, and what my close friends and family thought I was going to follow the one dream that I can't help to flood my brain with every day. Since I was a young girl the one thing I wanted, was to grace the cover of a magaizine, and be in front of the camera. I know deep down this is what I was born to do. It's a feeling that I've been that model in a past life if there's such a thing, and the destiny lies ahead of me. Even the small portions I have been involved with have helped me to conclude this is what I want out of life..
Lovingly Always,
Aspin Lea
