Born as a California native, Melanie grew up in different parts of Los Angeles. Always knowing that she wanted to contribute her talents to the arts, she is doing just that. Her rep stems from making her acting debut in JJ Abrams "Star Trek," Cone Chamberlain's "the making of grits," and Solomon Tubbs-Fisher's "Patrol" all the way to appearing in music videos for Ice Cube's latest inspiring song "Why Me," to modeling for Los Angeles and Hollywood's respected Photographers.
